bottom houses

I'm sorry but if you've done "lots of research" you've already hurt youself during rush because you will have a biased mindset. I am telling you right now it is impossible to know about these sororities by researching them. The only place you can really research the sororities is online and the only reliable places to do that are the pa hellenic website and each of the official sorority websites. Even then, it is hard to lnow anything.These are houses full of real people and diverse woman and it is really impossible to even know 3% of what the houses are like through "research". I am in a "top" house and I love it and think it's truly amazing but not because it's a "top" house but because I click with the girls. The "bottom" houses are just as amazing or they wouldn't have any members. Greek life at U of A is really incredible and every house is good when wanting to be in a sorority. Stop thinking so hard and worrying. Just go through with an open mind and see what you feel as you go through each house. The internet is ruining greek life I swear because PNMs snoop around online then think they know everything. You sound like being in a sorority means a lot to you not for the popularity (which is ridiiculous this is college peopke care about you not what sorority youre in) but for the tradition and bonds so I suggest you stop cheating yourself by trying to figure out all the houses and go in blind so finding the house for yourself come as naturally as possible.

Just be active and part of Grek life and you will have fun
