rush outfits
by: pnmhow much does what you wear matter when you are rushing? i watched the video on what to wear, but i feel like if i wore something as plain as they showed then i wouldnt stand out. i tried to look up examples online of outfits for recruitment, but it was all super preppy and old fashioned and i feel like UofA is a much more trendy school. what do people wear for rush? especially round one which is supposed to be "casual"

Trust me on this, you don't WANT to stand out because of your outfit. I know this is probably going to sound bad, but conformity is best when it comes to recruitment. You want your personality to do the talking. Not your outfit.
Your outfit will only make a difference if it really bad or really out there. We're not going to score you higher just because you're trendy. Once you get to rush and look around, you'll see everyone is trendy. If you try to stand out amongst them, you'll look like you're trying too hard. Conformity. Trust me.
I agree that Panhel's outfit suggestions are boring and not very good. Stick to your normal style and don't try too hard.
