Do frats honor legacies? I've heard that some frats do and some don't

What do you mean "honor" legacies? Like, you want an auto-bid because you're a legacy? No, no fraternity will do that. Most will give you special consideration but it doesn't guarantee a bid anywhere.

Mine will usually push you through an extra few days if you're a legacy. Also the relationship to the legacy and the school your family member attended matter.

For example, if your dad was a member in the 80s at U of A, you'll probably get a bid unless we really do not like you.
If your cousin is a member at New Mexico State, we probably won't treat you as a legacy.
If your dad or grandpa were members at a large state school like USC, we'll probably push you through a few days and make a decision at pref.

Make sure to have whoever it is you're related to write a rec letter and send it in to the Recruitment Chair a week or two before rush.
