is fiji coming back in fall 2017
by: LegacyGoing to UA next year as a freshman and I know Fiji isn't active rn but I'm a legacy.....anyone know anything

They can, and probably are, coming back this fall.
Honestly though, refounding a fraternity is a ton of work, much tougher, atleast in a different way, than pledging.
FIJI has a pretty good alum base, and will probably do a great job, but the experience you will get will be drastically different than joining an active chapter.
When KS came back on campus in Fall of 2012, they were for the most part all the losers that didn't get bids anywhere else. It took them a couple years to get back up top. Just realize that if you do join fiji, it may be a few years before you guys make it back up the food chain.
I would recommend rushing, seeing if there are any houses you really like, and if not, then going the re-founding route.

My dad is an alumni for fiji and he donates alot of money. He just told me that it is confirmed they are coming back in the fall. Fiji owns their house ( which is now Rawls-Eller Lodge) and leases it out to the U of A. Not sure if they will get their house back this year but their nationals are coming to recruit for the fall

WRONG!!!! FIJI is a five year suspension and cannot return until Fall 2019. You can verify that with the Greek life office.
