You'll most likely be cut by the top houses unless you're stellar in every other way. Even then, you might be cut by most of the top houses. If you still have everything else going for you (good looking, easy to talk to, interesting hobbies, fun/funny etc) then you'll most likely end up in upper middle/middle tier, so realistically you should set your sights on those. If you're the literal coolest guy on earth, the top houses will make exceptions for you. But most will cut based on gpa alone.
This same advice can be applied to any girls going through sorority rush who are worried about their grades. But I would also recommend getting recs if your gpa is lower than 3.0
