can i get into a house by knowing the girls?

I rushed this year and got a bid from a house I didn't feel a connection with at all so I dropped. Greek life was important to me but not so much that I would want to be miserable in a house. This semester I ended up becoming friends with majority girls in a house I really like and I've been told I look like a girl in this house but obviously not too much since this house dropped me during rush. Im thinking of rushing again as a sophomore for better hopes of getting a house I feel like I fit in with like the girls I'm friends with but their house is not super accepting for sophomores. is rushing again with the hot sun and blisters for a better chance then what I had this past rush worth it or should I accept being in no Greek life?
