rushing in fall as a sophomore?

Slim chance you'll get into any of those houses as a sophomore unless you know a lot of girls in that house

I have questions. How have you "fallen in love" with those houses when you don't even go to school here yet? Do you know anyone in those houses? Better yet, do you know the bulk majority of girls in those houses? If not, you've only fallen in love with the way they portray themselves on social media. Congrats, you've fallen for good marketing.

We can't tell you what your chances are just based on the fact that you'll be a sophomore. There are more factors that we take into account when selecting members, such as your gpa and how you present yourself physically. Also, your extracurriculars and hobbies. Generally, even the top houses will not eliminate anyone JUST for the fact that they aren't a freshman. There are always other reasons. But sophomores love to say they got dropped from all the top houses because they didn't rush as a freshman.

If your grades are good, and you are decently attractive and sociable, you have a chance at any house.

But please keep an open mind. You have NO idea what will happen once you go through rush. You won't know until then which houses you love. You can browse instagram all you want but you just don't know until you rush.
