before people get on here and attack you for this comment I want to be the nice one to give you advice. Sometimes bid day may seem overwhelming especially if it isn't the house you pictured yourself in.The best advice anyone could give you is hang in there for a few weeks and then decide if the house feels like home. It's too difficult to judge something like that on bid day. If in a few weeks you still dont feel like its for you then make sure to drop before initiation so you have the opportunity to rush again. Keep in mind some houses judge you when you drop and then try and rush again. Just keep and open mind and I think you'll be surprised.

You can't rush in the spring if you got a bid in the fall. Even if its to a house you don't like. You're required to wait a full calendar year before accepting another bid.

So you may as well stick it out up until initiation. And if you still don't like it, drop and rush again in the fall.

Give it a chance you might end up connecting with everyone and making great friends.
