rushing as a junior

by: Curious

I had a terrible freshman year (barely a 2.0, failed chem first semester, ect.) I decided to step back from clubs and partying to focus 100% on school. I got a 4.0 both semesters sophomore year and got into Eller. Now that my grades are good, I'm considering rushing as a junior. I'm not picky as I know my options are limited, but is it be worth trying? Especially since I haven't been that involved on campus?

Not sure if I believe you. 2.0 and failing classes to Eller is a big jump.
If you're telling the truth. Here's my advice; the odds are, the big houses aren't going to want you. Unless they REALLY like you, it's you vs the freshman/sophomores who can contribute just as much to the fraternity and will be around longer. Focus on the houses that aren't as well established. They'll value your work ethic and you'll be able to contribute more.
Either way, good luck!
