gpa
by: ConcernedI am transferring to UA this fall and planning on going through formal fall recruitment. My GPA is low due to an abusive relationship which created an extreme amount of anxiety. Because my GPA is low, is there any way for me to let sororities know the reason behind it or will I just get dropped right away due to having a low GPA?

"no" is wrong. Almost 2000 girls go through rush. Easiest cut for all the sororities to make is GPA. And most sororities do not take grade risks, they don't have to, with so many great girls with high GPAs to pick from. You'd be better off waiting a year and getting good grades as a freshman.

oops, I just saw that you're transferring in - so this might be your only chance to rush. You can't be picky.
