If you are transferring next semester/year and want to be apart of Greek life, wait to rush until you transfer to a school where Greek life is more relevant. Greek life isn’t huge at Commerce so if that’s what you want to do, definitely wait because other schools have a lot more options and recruitment is a much bigger deal. However, if you are staying at commerce all 4 years, by all means, find the group you click with. Do not stress about recruitment, Greek life means so little here so honestly, choose the house that you get along with the most. Don’t base it on anything else but that because it’s truly not worth stressing over!!

They try really hard and it does pay off sometimes, only get involved w other frats. Mostly nice girls but like a phi, only ever see and hand full of them around campus. Not horrible or anything, just over-hyped

Overly judgemental "Christian" girls. Going into recruitment there is a lot of hype about chi o, however post recruitment you never hear anything about them. They are definitely over-hyped and are not a top tier house anymore. Only thing good about them is the name.

people only join this chapter bc it’s easy to get in and transfer to another college and reaffiliate. it’s harder at top tier colleges to get into specific sororities. that’s why people only join them transfer somewhere else. some of them are super cool but everyone else just acts like they’re your friends and then talk behind your back. their sisterhood is very forced. they act like they all get along but really they have cliques within each other. i guess that’s cause i’m their ritual it says to keep personal matters within the sorority but that’s why a lot of girls drop or transfer.
