So, is it true that's it's hard to get into a sorority if you're from Plano? Why is that?

Not PKT. They consider Plano a "small town" and would rather take prominent wealthy city girls or wealthy out-of-state girls, and the occasional Midland girl whose daddy owns an oil company.
The mid-tier houses are full of suburb girls. Set your sights on those houses.

It's harder to get into PKT from Plano but it's not impossible.
