they'll last. They'll eventually fall out because there's no real potential there. Their reputation is pretty established, their base member is pretty defined, and it's not going to get any better.
Eventually, they won't be able to keep it up and they'll die out. The next colony will replace them like DKE. And the same thing will eventually happen with DKE.

DKE has history at UT and alumni throwing money their way. Doesn't mean they'll succeed, Sigma Nu failed when they tried a few years ago and Greek alumni I've talked to who were here in the late 80s and early 90s considered them to be top tier then. They certainly have better odds than Sigma Pi, TKE, or various colonies and chapters that are persistently bottom of the barrel.

Somehow they've been on campus for like 10 years in four different houses. I doubt they've ever had 40 members at once but they seem pretty persistent.
