top tier vs. middle. why the different demeanor?

by: ATX

From what I've noticed, the top tier guys just seem to carry themselves differently. They rarely seem to be wearing over the top "fratty" attire around campus, normally just a tshirt and khaki shorts. Have y'all noticed this same different demeanor/attitude of the top tier vs the middle tier guys?

middle tier guys aren't over-the-top walking TFMs on a daily basis either. I feel like you're probably taking the minority who are like that and applying it to everyone.

God forbid you see a Sigma Chi without croakies on his sunglasses. Which is funny, because he most likely doesn't own a boat and has probably never been fishing in his life

Joining a fraternity for the middle tier guys is just a much bigger deal making them much more proud etc. Most top tier guys just did it because their parents told them to and it's what almost everyone they know does.

This same thing can me applied to sororities as well. AXO, DG, and APHI love "being in a sorority" much more than PKT

Top tier guys have nothing to prove and they don't let being in a fraternity define them which is why you find a lot of them being leaders in other areas across campus. (Cru, SG, YL, etc.)

Leaders on campus partially because they have the largest voting block too, and still they're far from the only ones. The top tier are by no means the most involved on campus...
