There are a lot of "middle Class" girls in all the sororities, not any one sorority has all "rich" girls". Plus, some of the girls that act rich really aren't and some of the girls that seem middle class have a lot more money than you think...they're just not as flashy or spoiled. Good for KKG and XO for going for the sweet, nice, cute girls! Having a lot of money (or acting like you do but you're family is probably leveraged to the hilt) does not make you a good, nice or even fun person. I admire the sororities that choose
character and personality over wealth.

By pledge class
Top: Chi Omega, Kappa, Zeta
High: Theta, Alpha Phi, Alpha Chi Omega (last two will never be Big 6 but they got great classes)
Middle: Delta Gamma (rumors hurting?), Alpha Xi Delta (props), Tri-Delt (random rush this year?)
Bottom: Alpha Delta Pi, Kappa Delta, SDT
Pi Phi: Got who they wanted but no one else cares because if you aren't on their list from day one, they can't even pretend to be nice. That makes for sucky PR. So guess they'll just have to live with that.

Best rush:every house ! This year was really a great year at least I know that all the houses that I have seen and talked to seem so happy! Every house is strong at ut. If people im certain houses need to feel more special than others then that is a personality flaw.... And those aren't fixable so no point trying to make them see the light! Enjoy your year!

For the most part every house had a strong rush. Big 6 and Core 4 as always, great girls ALL made quota despite what the DG haters say (like someone else said, quota was 70, over 70 and those girls are QA's or "quota additions" which are girls that did not match anywhere so Panhellenic places them in a house where they went to pref but were not on the top bid list. Only the most uneducated person would say a house that takes more girls over the others is "better" just because the number is higher....it does not work that way. QAs are not good or bad, they are just what they are.

Nope. Not a DG. But am in a strong house at UT. I just can't stand when people spread bad information about a house not making quota on the premise they don't understand the system.

curious why girls is certain houses feel the need to feel threatened if other houses have great rushes and get great girls? It seems there is a REAL threat that certain houses refuse to allow other houses success. Do you do that when a friend gets better grades, better boyfriend, more compliments, better job?? etc. Scary . this personality type... and yes I am addressing the above poster........you are frightening

Not sure who you're adressing. The whole core 4 thing is tiring because it's the same as the big 6 concept and it's just their to exclude the houses below the "core 4". It's not progressive or productive, it's just moving the goal line again, and when and if it sticks it's purpose will just be to exclude houses like KD, AXiD and AEPhi so that they can't move anywhere. The lower tier sororities had great rushes this year, and #51 purposely excluded them from their "great girls". Core 4 promotion isn't some antidote to the big 6, it's just more of the same problem.

Core 4 is a ridiculous term. Honestly, the difference between top and bottom houses is getting smaller every year. AXiD, for instance, made quota this year to my knowledge, and also got one of the best looking pledge classes. They are supposedly a bottom house, but they seemed to do better in rush than several middle tier groups. We don't need a "core 4" or probably even a big 6 because the differences get smaller by the year. The top tier (big 6) probably isn't about to change, but the middle tier looks volatile with houses like AXiD and KD looking stronger and other houses like ADPi and DG kind of coasting. Just my take on what I've seen.

pledged nice and attractive girls who just weren't as loaded as some others? Shame on them for pledging "average" girls who's trust funds weren't big enough, right?
