ksig or sigep?

Sig Ep is crazier and a bit more diverse in member location, and have at least a few Hispanic members. Their current run at top tier is certainly longer too. KSig has only returned to the top tier since KA got their charter pulled, but they have a long history of being a top tier at UT before getting kicked off in the 90s. I definitely have respect for Kappa Sig's overall attitude lately, plus I'm pretty sure they got a 70 man pledge class in the Fall. Overall they might be the most friendly and down to earth top tier chapter, and they're more like the Young Life version of Fiji or SAE.

You'll know after rush. The strake kids in sigep like to party and have alot of fun but strake ksigs are really genuine guys

Well said. Both top notch fraternities. I'm a little partial to KS though.

Sigep chooses what strake kids they want, it'll depend on what older guys you know

KSig is defintiely on the up-n-up but SigEp is still at the top

both on top, but Kappa Sig still seems to be moving up. If they haven't passed Sig Ep yet, they very well might soon. Hell SAE and Fiji might have to be careful soon. All those house will probably remain damn strong regardless.

KSig is more similar to Fiji and SAE - very traditional and wealthy

SigEp places emphasis on their parties and not so much on there members "zip codes"

Both are neck in neck on the social scene, just depends on which group you are more similar to

Seems to be getting stronger this year, and can compete with anyone for the most consistently fun house. Ksig will be there in probably two years but you never know. It's a great thing that UT will have so many strong fraternities. As far as rushing either, Ksig and Sigep probably share the least in common with each other of the top 4. You should know where you fit in after a while
