seems like having sweethearts in the ranks is prestigious for UT chapters, especially Cowboy and Silver Spur sweethearts.

big 6 and mid 3 have cowboy/ss sweethearts; don't know about aephi, tho.

zbt has a lot of cowboys and spurs so I wouldn't be surprised if theres aepi sweethearts

I don't know exactly how the process works but they probably have to get voted on by all the guys

you have to hang out with the guys a lot, be popular among them and get enough support for them to nominate you for sweetheart; obviously they want fun-loving girls that will also add to their prestige AND no doubt they want babes)....same deal as being a sweetheart for the top and mid tier frats.
