I'm actually in another sorority on campus but friends with sisters and ALL the sororities give out fines for not attending certain events. It's a part of sorority life.

I'm really angry that the OP said we take "left over" girls. The way recruitment works, there are no "left over" girls. If no sorority wants a girl then she doesn't get a preference invite and therefore a bid. It's unfortunate, but it happens. It is not possible to take "left over" girls because we give bids to girls we WANT. As does every sorority on campus. As for the fines, when I joined we had a LOT of girls skipping events and skipping on their dues. We had to enforce a stricter policy but academics and work come before the sorority as does family obligations. If you have an excuse, you don't get a fine. And if you don't want to go to an event hosted by your sorority, then you shouldn't be in one. And also whoever was in a different sorority and says they don't get fined, Panhellenic gives fines to all 4 sororities if they don't attend Panhellenic sponsored events, so yes, we all get fined. If you have any other questions about our sorority I would be happy to answer them.

They have a very strong sisterhood and you can always see them together. They're down to earth but have a great time too!

Quiet, come off as stuck up. Never really hear much about them. In fact, didn't even know LHU had 4 sororities until seeing them on here.

They're very small, but they all seem very close. They're very genuine and not fake at all, focused on being classy. I saw them doing a few things on campus but I don't see their letters much

The person below is bitter that SK has the #1 rating on here. The are not stuck up, some of the girls are more shy and reserved but definitely not stuck up. SigKaps are the some of the nicest girls at LHU. Going out does not equal sorority, doing good things and promoting a positive image for your organization equals sorority.

These girls have to be the classiest sorority on campus. They are always polite and welcome any kind of girl with open arms. They may be one of the smaller sororities, but you can tell that the sisterhood is so close between all the girls. Just because they are smaller does not mean they don't know how to have a good time in a classy manner. Honestly, if I had to join a sorority it would be them hands down.

Sigma Kappa is the smallest sorority on campus. They come off as not the most social. A few girls seem super sweet, a few seem super stuck up. Take a lot of leftover girls that other sororities don't want. Give fines out to sisters for not doing stuff such as attending events and wearing badge attire. They do not do much community service or hold many events on campus.
