by: NoNot everyone prioritizes tiers.. there are girls in KD, deeph, gphi, pi phi that had srats such as dg, adpi, chio, etc and CHOSE the lower ranked srats. Just because someone is i. a lower ranked srat that doesn't mean they are less of a person.

I’m in a low tier srat because I like the girls in it. I got back top tiers for every single round I went to and it was a chose on my part not to be a part of that. Assuming everyone wants to be in a top tier srat is literally ridiculous.
I chose my house based on the sisterhood and that I just genuinely got good vibes and liked the house. I didn’t consider what the girl that was rushing me looked like (but the girls in my house are gorgeous love them). I cannot imagine going to a house and having your decision making factor be what the girl rushing you looks like. That’s what gives sororities a bad rep.

I was between a “lower” house and one of the “top 5” and I chose the higher ranked one.
Regret it so much. My friends that went to the lower houses are so happy and have made genuine friends. Seriously pnms, the best advice I can give you is to not listen to this site

Not that aephi is a top house, but I had them for prefs and am glad I didn't end up there. Ended up in gphi and I am too grateful.

I know this post wasn’t trying to be problematic but you literally forgot agd and they deserve to be included in this as well. because someone can go with what is considered the lowest tier sorority (they can even be choosing between the highest tier and the lowest tier! that might surprise some of you) and still be happy with their decision to go low.

very true. i was between one of the “top 5” houses and a mid house for pref. ended up preffing/ getting in the mid house and i’m very happy with my choice. i’ve made genuine friends and my other house(nothing against them, just the vibes) i felt like the girls(both actives and pnms) cared more about the ranking rather than the connections. not saying ppl in top houses r bad ppl at all, but they do care a lot more about ranks and what ppl think about them as opposed to making genuine friendships:)

GPhi AGD Peeph Deeph (RIP AOPi) etc aren’t made to give a crap about arbitrary things like “who” they’re mixing with or whether their chapter looks attractive enough in any photo being posted of them etc. As a result, there’s room to care about things like... you know... sisterhood?
KD is trying to be social climbers pretty hard tho ngl, don’t think they really fall into what I said above. I know some girls really like KD but it’s a super mixed bag and I know there’s some resentment over not being able to drop KD without a financial penalty. So we’ll see

Same! I had an upper mid and a lower tier for prefs. I preffed the lower one, knowing that I would feel out of place in the higher one
