rush questions
by: Incoming freshieI’ve looked at a few posts for suggestions on this site for rushing and a lot of people have suggested to “check out some houses during welcome week before open houses/rush”. What does this mean exactly? Like go to a few day parties during welcome week? Isn’t it pretty hard to get into top frat parties without already knowing people? What if I want to check out a house but they won’t let me into their party? Just curious.

During welcome week go meet a group of freshman girls that you are gonna go out and party with. All the frats will be throwing events, so just go up and tell the people at the door that you are planning on rushing if they ask you. If they tell you no, don’t take it personal it probably is because they are at max capacity. Just walk over to a different frat. Don’t be an idiot and try to sneak your way into a frat house if you’ve been denied, there are so many frats to go checkout that will most likely let you in
