You cannot change the culture unless you keep those members that are 100% behind the change. You need to make sure all the ones who are part of the problem are not only out of the house and out of the chapter, but also understand that they are no longer welcome. Otherwise it ends up being a relearning of bad habits.

What the heck happened to get them removed from the chapter house? Were there signs that chapter advisory board should have noticed earlier and taken action on?
