I don't see Sig Ep merging into a new frat, unless some of their current brothers decide to deactivate and start an underground social club. However, I don't see Sig Ep producing any large PC's in the future.

Sig Ep will get what's left of the rest in terms of PC.

It's not fake news, It's for real. Several of Sig Ep chapters have gone dry. The most recent one was their Univ. of Florida Chapter. It's all part of their "Balance Man" Program.

My best friend from HS is a Kappa Sig at Florida and he told me that when Sig Ep re-colonized last year, it was announced that they would be a dry house and that the colony would have to adopt the Balance Man Program. This did not sit well with their Alumni, who are showing very little support to that colony.

What's "Balance Man"? Is it like gymnastics and stuff? Honestly, pledge olympics can be pretty funny.

A lot of people associate the word “tradition” in fraternities with parties, hazing and Animal house… If we are going to talk tradition, let’s go all the way back to our founding. These tenets started with 12 men at Richmond college in 1901. Thus, the Balanced Man Program is the true traditional fraternity experience.

And how long did that last before these 12 men realized that it was not going to work when competing with the other well established fraternities???

People who haven't been a brother in a Balanced Man Chapter have no basis on which to criticize this award-winning membership development program. It's the envy of the entire fraternity industry.

Is that why so many Sig Ep chapters keep getting kicked off campuses every year? This cannot be too good of a development program.
