Just an overrated moshpit. Houses might look good but the parties here are not as good as they should be. Many girls here seem to prove the stereotype of Michigan girls being unattractive. Most girls that are attractive are usually kinda rude and snobby and just looking for a guy with a lot of money. It's just dominated by a lot of east coast transplants and that annoys me. If AEPi is a top house here, you just know there's an issue.

It's a huge school so it's hard for greek life not to be competitive because there's not always enough room for everyone that wants to join

UMich has a very unique greek culture on campus. Although greek students are the minority, they seem to dominate the social scene on campus, and when you go to a party or bar, the people you meet are most likely going to be part of greek life. Although there are many social outlets on campus outside greek life, joining a fraternity or a sorority comes with amazing opportunities, experiences, and friendships you might not get otherwise.

Welcome to Michigan. One of the best schools in the nation. Home to the #1 public university and one of the most traditional sized greek life experiences in the North. People here are well connected, so expect to know someone before you come to rush. Frats haze anywhere from hard (to the point of getting kicked off campus) or not at all, pledge and find out. Our girls are smart and good looking too. Work hard play hard is the lifestyle, get ready to enjoy the best 4 years of your life.
