Slightly easier name to pronounce than phi psi (especially if you are a math major). Chi is technically pronounced KYE as in kyle (only the first syllable though). Do NOT rush this place if you are unfamiliar with how to pronounce the e in theta. Some people just call them “OX” if their name is hard to say. Let’s face it, Greek letters have no place in a society that has largely adopted to the Latin alphabet. Up there with FIJI in progressiveness when it comes to phonetic pronunciations.
