Yes, recruitment is competitive- 600 girls signed up for 300 bids, but that simply is nowhere close to 92% of first year womwn.Rremember some freshmen are not allowed to rush because they didn't make the grade cut from 1st semester. EVERY house gets its share of beautiful girls! Some are classier than others. Some are academically stronger. Some are more involved. Some party harder. Some have tighter sisterhoods than others. Yeah I said it. I wanted to be in Pi Phi or Kappa before I went through the rush process. Probably like you did too. I know all of you bitter girls hate that "some kappa" is bashing you, but Kappa is still a popular house. Maybe not respected or popular for the right reasons, but they were the most wanted to go back to with Pi Phi and we all know the mix with the top frats. For personal reasons you may not like them, but don't make PNM's scared of them because they are still a top tier house with Pi Phi
