rushing as a junior

Just curious. I'm a sophomore this year and going abroad in the fall of my junior year. I thought about rushing Axid this year, but I realized I wanted to be apart of something more established. So, I guess my questions are:
1. Can you rush as a junior(spring semester)?
2. Is it lame to rush as a junior?
It's sad that it took me this long to realize it, but I am ready. I know a lot of girls in various sororities, but I have not asked them. Thanks so much!

You can try. There have been juniors who have gotten bids from good organizations, but it's without a doubt harder. It's always worth a try though, so I say go for it!
