They disbanded themselves and in doing so, did everyone else a favor. They were a squid house to begin with - awkward , no parties, no chicks, very small number of brothers. Had they not disbanded themselves, they would have eventually had to close due to their small number of members and irrelevance in campus Greek Life. It was a last chance frat for those on the “No Bid” list. Good riddance!
