I wouldn't concern myself with getting involved with greek life if you choose to attend uah. Stem school full of basement nerds and the sororities and fraternities here reflect that. The system only comprises about 7% of the student population, there are close to no parties (the ones that do happen suck), and lots of rules and regulations to go along with strict gpa requirements. My time hanging out with greek people here was never a positive thing.
Greek life here is much more laid back than at the big schools! There's more cameraderie between the chapters, and as a whole it's a veru close-knit community. I love it!
Greek life at this school is definitely different from other schools. It is a tight community and easy to make friends between the sororities and fraternities.
Good Greek life that is growing
For a engineering school, the greeks here sure do know what they are doing. They are generally the top scholars at school, and the most fun. They throw great parties for a smaller university, but it is a great time.
