These guys are cool enough but they have practically zero campus involvement and if you are not a stoner don't even bother

DZ loves talking crap. all we do is bash the other sororities and talk about how we can make them look bad on campus so that way we look better. It's so weird to me because plenty of our chapter members hang out with aoiis and kds but we are still all so mean about them but say nothing to their faces.

I didn't really know much about d chi until this year but my first interaction with this frat was actually at one of their officials. A guy had made me feel uncomfortable and wouldn't leave me alone and one of the bothers got me to the next room and asked if I was okay. I told him the whole story and they kicked the guy out immediately. I didn't even know these boys and they cared enough to make sure I felt safe in their house 10/10 guys fr

ATO is such a scary frat. They have a bunch of Orientation Leaders who get all these young freshmen to come to the house and set them up with older brothers. It's creepy and it's weird.

as someone who is not involved in greek life, I assumed the KDs would be really stuck up or mean but I guess that's what I always expect from pretty girls. As I am getting to know the KDs better I quickly realized that they are really funny and down to earth, honestly, I'm looking into going through recruitment because I think I would like to be their sister.

I am a DZ whose parents won't let me drop. When I first joined this sorority I thought I had picked the perfect house but the longer I stay, the more I see "real" DZ. Everyone talks behind everyone's back, and honestly, I get anxious at the thought of going to the house anymore. We have a reputation for being pretty involved on campus but that is only because we get in trouble if we are not. Overall I say this definitely feels like home if you enjoy bullying your "sisters".

Got told about all of this and I had to hop on. I love the gaslighting in the paid positive response below. Imagine guilt tripping sisters and insisting that this is all the sister's fault. They ignored all of the illegal activity and bullying behind the scenes. I'm thinking about leaving soon too lol. There's a reason the turnover rate is so high. Being told to 'raise money' is fine but i wish we would disclose it during recruitment so members don't have to pay the bill themselves because no one donates to those things except parents... Also last semester a lot of us were only told to raise money one week before the deadline. In all ive made a few friends but I could have done that organically and skipped this whole mess..

I wonder how much money they just paid that member to post that “honest” review. We all know chapter is ridiculous and the worst sorority on campus so don’t try to sugar coat it. Everyone’s too busy doing frat laps and going to frat parties to even fix the issues themselves.

AOII has given so many amazing opportunities in chapter. As an active I’ve been able to come out of my shell. A lot of the people who have left chapter seem to only express the issues they had with chapter, but they didn’t want to be apart of the solution. I’ve seen members leave and be negative because “it wasn’t the experience they expected”, because they had to raise money or do service hours or attend meetings. But as a member of Greek life completing philanthropic work, doing service hours, attending meetings, and much is a well known thing about what being a sorority includes. You also get the benefits of going to socials and mixers, having a formal and/or semi formal, and some fantastic sisterhood events! A lot of the members who complain don’t want to offer a solution to help better their time in chapter. Your experience is what you make it. If you are constantly late, not going to things, not raising money, not doing service hours, not doing study hours, and not going to things or participating, then that is the experience YOU have created for yourself. It’s not the organization or members fault. AOII is such a great place to call home, and I love being a member who gets to participate in all these amazing things that we have to offer. Joining AOII has been the best choice I’ve ever made because I made my experience as enjoyable and beneficial as possible.

Don't get me wrong, they do have some great guys. But the majority are a bunch of jerks. Also, it's so weird to me that everyone knows they get their potentials trashed before giving out bids so that way they can make them sign.
