Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at University of Maryland, College Park - UMD 3.0 I am in a top tier southern sorority and I have to say, as a Panhellenic woman, I am really appalled at that letter. Not only does it make Delta Gamma look bad, but Panhellenic as a whole. I served on my sorority's exec board last year, and I totally get having to deal with embarrassing sisters. But that email, that was classless. That being said, I know the letter was only the words of one girl, and does not represent the institution as a whole. I genuinely hope Delta Gamma recovers from this.

I am in a top tier southern sorority and I have to say, as a Panhellenic woman, I am really appalled at that letter. Not only does it make Delta Gamma look bad, but Panhellenic as a whole. I served on my sorority's exec board last year, and I totally get having to deal with embarrassing sisters. But that email, that was classless. That being said, I know the letter was only the words of one girl, and does not represent the institution as a whole. I genuinely hope Delta Gamma recovers from this.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at University of Maryland, College Park - UMD 5.0 You should not judge a sorority on one girls individual actions, obviously the girl was not all the way sane, and to speak negatively about Delta Gamma as a whole is not right, and to speak negatively about Maryland's chapter isn't right either. It was one girl, I'm sure other frats and sororities have crazy people in them too

Sorority girls already have to deal with the common misconceptions about being a sorority - thank you for only making that harder now for sorority girls nationwide.
