by: Open MindAs someone who rushed their freshman year and has been in a sorority for two years now, trust me when I tell you this site is the worst thing for UCLA Greek life. Greek Rank paints a picture of a nasty hierarchical Panhellenic community, when in reality most people couldn't give a crap what house you're in, and rankings are not defined in the slightest. While there still may be "tiers" of houses that have events with similar frats, socially there's not a whole lot of difference between them. Hence why there's so much senseless debate, as it's really just personal opinion, and I've talked to many of my guy friends in the "top tier" frats about this and they all agree, if that is part of your concern (which it shouldn't be). So please go into rush with an open mind. And remember that the people posting the most are likely the most insecure.

the process ensures that you will end up in a house that suits you (even if it may not seem like it at first)
greekrank is toxic and in the end, mostly useless - take notes on how you felt in each house and look at the houses instagrams
and just go into recruitment with the goal of making friends, no need to try hard to impress anyone
