They're considered top because LA Times wrote an article endorsing the narrative that Lambda is the undisputed and only destination for "social relevancy" in other words unbeatable #1. But they also endorsed Hilary while writing statements she was undisputed top unbeatable candidate and were terribly wrong about this. So they have a losing record on endorsements. Better question, are we really falling for more Fake Polls and Fake News?
Anyone who doesn't fall into the Fake Reality this site trys to create will realize their #1 ranking is truly up for debate. Especially coming from someone who has hung around them and gone to their events. Yes, they are definitely top tier, and have some fun guys, but I've been to better parties from other houses, and plenty of my girls who hold real convos away from here agree. I honestly like partying more with Sig Chi and SAE but thats just us personally. Not saying we wont go to a Lambda party, we just prefer other house's parties if we have options beyond them. Just don't let the media fool you like they've been trying to for a while again, maybe the editor is a Lambda? If you dont party much then Lambda probably is #1 for you, and that's fine. Partying isn't everyones scene!

KAPPA is the minimum standard at UCLA period, if you want to talk about "minimum standards" how ironic of you girls. So that says more about Lambda and your sorority than everyone else. You're the easiest girls on campus and everyone knows it. You have their letters tattoo'd on your behinds. This isn't 2012 anymore when SAE DECIDED you could be relevant.

KAPPA is the top sorority at UCLA has been and always will be. Kappa MADE SAE, now SAE is going downhill. Where it's embarrassing to be seen with you we rather hang with Lambda Chi the new #1 fraternity at UCLA.

Just because your past PC spent four years on their knees for SAE doesn't make you the biggest house. They let you be relevant, because if it weren't for the easy reputation, no one would know you. SAE created you, they screwed themselves. Now you're spending the next four to five years on your knees for a bunch of Lambda's. Top house alright, if you want a quickie. You girls know it too, sounds like you were on your knees typing that response.

Typical of SAE inflating their self worth. It was actually the other way around, Kappa has always been the #1 sorority with the prettiest girls, it's the sorority every girl aspires to be in. Kappa MADE SAE, unfortunately SAE over the past 4 years has been in a downward spiral with each PC becoming more questionable to this point where frankly it's embarrassing for a sorority of our stature to be associated with you. Lambda Chi Alpha has been getting the top PC for years now they have the the best looking guys that throw the best parties and have become the #1 fraternity at UCLA. #1 sorority likes to hang with the #1 fraternity.

I doubt if you can find one sorority that would pick SAE over Lambda Chi given the choice.

In reality Lambda Chi is the undisputed #1 fraternity at UCLA, SAE has slipped to the middle tier at around #4-5
