University of California, Los Angeles - UCLA 4.0 Probably one of the best Greek campuses amongst the UC. UCLA actually has a fraternity row and sorority row. IFC is strict so it could be annoying. The rushing process for guys is pretty laid back and the houses mostly rush guys based off of social abilities (funny, can hold a conversation...etc) and looks. Wealth doesn't play much of a factor here. Never really heard of any crazy hazing incident. The general tier one houses are SAE, SX, Sig Ep, and ZBT. tier 2 houses are SN, LXA, Beta, and Phi Psi. But overall, each house has its fair amount of cool guys and events

The general consensus at UCLA is: Frats: SAE/SigChi/S igEp ZBT/Lambda SNU/Bet a PhiPsi/Pikapp/AEPI Th eta Xi/DTD/Theta Chi (The rest)-- Srats: KKG/APH I/THETA DG/CHIO/GPHI PI PHI/KD ADPI/AXO AGD Ea ch house has its own perks and everyone ends up where they belong in the end! However, Greek life at UCLA isn't like the south whatsoever. Very relaxed but at the same time it's a huge presence on campus. Going Greek is the best decision ever!

The sigma houses (SAE, SigEp, SigChi), ZBT and Lambda are the more "hardcore" houses but they are also the most relevant ones so it's worth it. BTW if you can't handle it, then don't rush them. - People are very attractive - Very cool houses and it's cheaper to live than on campus

University of California, Los Angeles - UCLA 4.3 Though not as big as the south, Greek life at UCLA is a prominent part of the social scene. You can't go anywhere without seeing letters on campus. Most sororities and frats are selective when it comes to bidding and to get a top house is hard. Housing is a mix of old and new most frat houses are pretty dirty.
