Though not as big as the south, Greek life at UCLA is a prominent part of the social scene. You can't go anywhere without seeing letters on campus. Most sororities and frats are selective when it comes to bidding and to get a top house is hard. Housing is a mix of old and new most frat houses are pretty dirty.
