by: ???Has anyone thought of just letting the pan and multicultural sorties just be one big group???? Like why the separation ?? I feel like not a lot of other schools separate like this.

Equal and unified. You sound like one of those people who think everyone should get a trophy for participating. Fun fact: life doesn't work that way, no matter how much you want it to. There will always be winners and there will always be losers. Participation trophies give unrealistic expectations because in the real world of 'life', nobody gets a participation trophy. Everyone gets butthurt about everything these days.

I think your reasoning is stupid. I know in life not everyone wins but wtf is the point of the separation? In life we aren't segregate do to race (which by the way is exactly what is happening) we are basically saying the MCG is less important than the Pan greek they aren't even allowed to have a rush they are treated as basically Irelevant. And that's is completely stupid.

First, learn to spell.
Second, why does everything come back to race? There are some African Americans in npc sororities. Also, why is it that the only sororities you seem to have a problem with are the npc sororities? What, we won't let you join our group? What says it isn't the other way around? This is just like someone saying it's not okay for a white person to use a derogatory term to a black person, but it's okay for the black person to be derogatory towards the white person. Reverse racism is becoming a lot bigger of an issue in this country than people are willing to admit. But that's beside the point. Point is, as long as people are unwilling to pull their own weight, there will never be complete equality. In life. Period. Life physically and scientifically does not work in favor of equality.

To the OP:
You are very uniformed. You just want everyone to be equal. But, the issue is that different groups are separated by different councils because they have different regulations and primarily different recruitment processes. If everyone's recruitment processes were the same, all sororities would be governed by National Panhellenic Conference. But they're not. These councils choose their rules and choose to recruit the way they do. You can't make them conform the NPC standards, just because you're a bleeding heart idealist that wants everyone to be equal.
Additionally, MCG and NPHC don't have the same rules regarding hazing as NPC does.
These separate councils are in place for a reason.

That's stupid. This whole thing is one huge popularity contest that won't matter in life just get over it everyone should be equal and it should be unified
