blacks in ifc
by: RNSI am an African American Male with a 3.89 GPA. I am currently looking to join the greek life here at Texas Tech, but I have faced a few obstacles in regards to the color of my skin. Being that I am an ex-athlete and I won Prom king in HS, Id think that someone excepting me for who I am wouldn't be so hard. My question is what am I missing to join fraternities like PIKE, FIJI, etc? Is it because my parents don't make six figures?
