Kappa Kappa Gamma - ΚΚΓ Sorority at Texas Tech University - TTU 2.6 Kappas are definitely popular at Tech and have a reputation for having money, but that's about it. I met a Kappa who is a junior and didn't even know all of the girls in her own pledge class! She also talked about how her sisters weren't particularly nice to her, especially when she was a new member. When joining this sorority you're really choosing a reputation over a meaningful experience.

Kappas are definitely popular at Tech and have a reputation for having money, but that's about it. I met a Kappa who is a junior and didn't even know all of the girls in her own pledge class! Kappa Kappa Gamma - ΚΚΓ Sorority at Texas Tech University - TTU 3.0 My rush group ended up being FULL of Kappas. They were all very loud, slightly rude, and acted like they were better than everyone else. I don't want to judge an entire sorority off of a group of their new pledge class but I haven't met one to change my opinion yet.
