These guys try so hard but will always fall in the shadow of real frats like pike and cal phi. Look back several posts and you'll find some painfully obvious self ranks posted a week or two after winter rush, tells you all you need to know tbh. The only thing keeping them afloat is all the money they got from their dads and if you actually find that cool you are disgusting.

Known as the rich kid frat, some nice guys and fun parties but pretty douchey vibe overall. Not super involved in the overall greek/scu community either, the guys tend to stick to themselves/don't have many friends outside of their house and only associate with the same group of dg/aphi girls.

This frat is just a bunch of wealthy dudes jerking each other off. Basically, if you’ve got a dumb amount of money from you dad and want to waste it rush Sig Pi. The real frats are Pike and CalPhi. Plus their self rates are shameless. Really cringey.

A message to all the freshman looking at this page right now, I go here and am in delta gamma. Sig pi guys are cool for like two months freshman year because they’re the only frat that rushes fall, and then pike and cal phi rush which is what the real top dogs wait for and then get bids from. Those guys then overshdow sig pi and the rest is history, every year. Sorry sig pi

As someone who is not in sorority but likes to go out, I can say SIgma Pi is one of my last choices when figuring out a house to go to. Pc only associates with the same 20-30 girls and keeps them on rotate between themselves. You can never have a conversation with a Sig Pi because most of them will never approach you and won't stick around long if you approach them. They think they're a lot better than they are and overall come off as a pretty douchey frat. Not all the guys are like this but it is a common trend that they are only concerned with themselves and their own social status as opposed to real human connection and friendliness. Did not realize this was the case until all the other frats rushed and I realized there were a whole lot better frats than SIg Pi. Would pick almost any other house over Sigma Pi.

Just a bunch of entitled rich kids who throw a fit whenever something doesn't go their way, as evidenced by the negative reviews on pike's page and self ranks here. Sorry that you don't get all the attention from girls anymore now that the other frats have rushed.

Lots of people like to complain about the fact that this fraternity is the only one that rushes in the fall. People mostly complain that it doesn't give some guys a chance to look at the other houses, but I think it's much more concerning than that. Most people who rush sig pi don't do it because they genuinely want to be in that fraternity, they do it because they want to be in A fraternity, and sig pi gives them that experience right off the bat (as opposed to waiting until the winter). Whereas for the other frats that do rush in the winter, the guys rushing are there because they are interested in that specific house over all the others. Sig pi rush consists less of the guys focusing on the brotherhood and more of them showcasing all the cool things they do and how popular they are, and their criteria for choosing which guys to give bids to seems to be who is the most attractive or whose parents have the most money. This results in a level of superficiality within the fraternity that isn't as present in other houses, and many people who don't get sig pi bids end up relieved when they find a house that is a genuinely good fit for them. If you wanna rush sig pi, then by all means go ahead, just know that this is what you're getting into.
