how intense is rushing for girls?

People have said that greek life is only 30% of the student body but when I visited it looked like it was really huge!

Is rushing as intense as it is at like in the south? Is it really hard to get a bid from top tier houses?

Its not intense and if you're good looking you'll get a bid most anywhere.
