Pls help!!! I had tours today and really liked
by: confusedTalking to the girls in a bottom chapter. What do I do? Is it worth it joining a bottom tier sorority? I just felt they were so friendly and radiated positive energy

Literally the whole idea of tiers is stupid and only exists because of superficial qualities like looks. All of us panhell sisters value each other equally and tiers are just a superficial system defined by the frats, when in reality all the srats are the same in terms of the experience they can provide you. At the end of the day you want to go to the house of girls you really vibed with! So I encourage you disregard tiers and go with your heart about which house you really connected with, even if it’s a “bottom tier”.

Totally agree with what everyone has said so far. I think there is even more of a reason to join a chapter you like this year, because lots of the events where tiers supposedly matter (exchange, formal, acf) are cancelled or going to be way different, so in that case what tier your in matters even less.
Being in a srat takes so much time over the 4 years you are there, and if you join based on what chapter your first year self thinks is the highest ranked, you probably won't be as happy as if you just went where your gut tells you to. Of course if you love the girls in a higher ranked chapter, go for it! But if the only thing holding you back from a chapter is what tier they are, then just say F it and go where the girls make you happy :)
