alcohol banned from exchanges?

by: Ban

So is alcohol actually going to be banned from exchanges now? And if you want to drink you'll have to bring your own and not allowed to share with anyone else?

What is the point of this??

There is seriously zero appeal to joining the Greek system now after all these dumb rules

It’s great so all these sorority girls joining don’t feel entitled to free liquor.

I’m in a frat and I think this comment is complete bs. You sound like a loser who doesn’t know how to talk to girls. It’s people like you who are ruining the Greek system.

It’s not about entitlement, it’s about being a good host. If you invite guests over to your house for a party it is the norm that you would provide refreshments for them. If you don’t want to provide for your guests then don’t invite them over, period.

It's not about being a good host, it's about being good enough as a chapter so that girls come around regardless of whether or not you have alcohol. The mentality of most incoming sorority girls are pretty good, but as soon as you create this expectation of giving liquor, it becomes the norm and girls expect it, rather than appreciate it.

Exchanges = parties = host serves alcohol unless it’s some kind of 6th grade birthday party
