sorority features?

I'm considering rushing this Fall but only met a few girls who are in sororities. I'm just wondering if there are things certain sororities are known for or look for during rush? Are some known for being sporty or academic?

Different sororities look for different things, but honestly just go for rush where you'll see all the different chapters for yourself and be able to make your own judgement of them. You'll definitely feel like you fit in better with some sororities and not others, regardless of what they look for.

AGD is known for being sporty for sure. Most sororities look for girls who have strong academics but some are more lax than others - I've heard girls in Kappa say it's not a huge factor for them for example - they care more about personality, looks, overall fit etc.
