Here’s the truth. Don’t treat recruitment like a job interview. It isn’t. Go out there and talk your heart out, make some good conversations, really let them to get to know you and also get to know them.

Pretty much every sorority wants girls that have good grades, are nice people, and want to get involved with the chapter and on campus. If you have those qualities and you are friendly and present yourself well (i.e. aren't super awkward to talk to) during recruitment, you will end up in a great chapter.

Some sororities look a bit more for certain qualities (example: AGD is a very athletic chapter so bonus points if you really like sports) and some sororities have slightly higher GPA requirements. There is obviously a lot of talk on here about which chapters are "hotter" but so much of that genuinely is about looking put together during recruitment - having your hair/nails/makeup done nicely (or not wearing makeup or having your nails done at all if that's your thing!) and wearing an outfit you feel good in. It also helps if you're in first or second year rather than third or fourth. First years have a GPA advantage b/c your high school average is always much higher than your university average.
