boyfriend not letting me go to frat formals

My boyfriend is not okay with me going to other guys' semi formals and formals even when I would be going as just friends with them. I feel like it's really unfair to me because I'm missing out. We've almost broken up because of these arguments too. What should I do?

It doesnt seem like a strong relationship since you are going to this website for advice. If your relationship with him is valued more, you wouldnt feel like you are missing out on anything. There is something that you are not getting fulfilled by him.

No normal guy would be ok if his gf went as someone else's date to a frat formal….. your relationship is obviously not strong
