Delta Zeta - ΔΖ Sorority Ratings at USI

This chapter used to be amazing but recent leadership has dug it in a hole. Drama and recent issues have shown that this chapter has developed ideals of substandard behavior. I want the absolute best for my former chapter, however they are currently failing miserably at succeeding within the Greek community. It sucks.

joining dz was one of the worst things i could have done. the girls in charge are constantly bringing one another down, the current president and her clique being the worst of it. getting out made me feel much more free and showed me who my real friends are and who i was paying for, it’s a lot more than you realize.

Delta Zeta has always been the best sorority and still is. If you were a popular girl in high school, you will be a DZ. They seem to have a tight sisterhood too.

Please take the time to get to know the girls in the sorority and their hearts before you judge them negatively based on some reviews on Greek Rank. You may miss out on some awesome girls/sisterhood if you simply take someone else’s word for it. Delta Zeta has some of the sweetest, most genuine, encouraging, supportive individuals ever as members. They genuinely care for each other and it shows in every aspect of their sisterhood.

Not here to hate but I know a lot of girls dropped in the matter of a month because of the clickiness of the exec board. Don’t be fooled it is fun when you join until the shine wears off and they begin to treat you like everyone else. If you aren’t in the “group” there is no doubt you will feel left out. It’s such a shame what the sorority has turned into. Just remember as a PNM you are on the outside looking in it’s not as great as it seems. Also sorority’s do get on here and comment great things about their sorority. Nothing on here that I have read is a lie…..

Honestly a decent group of girls, there’s just a handful of them that think they are so much better than everyone. And that handful makes them all look bad. I’ve heard from so many DZs that there’s one girl who’s basically taken over everything and thinks she owns the place because she has connections to alum and won’t stop till she herself is at the top. She likes to tell people she wants to overthrow the current higher ups in the sorority cause she thinks she will be voted president. A lot of girls realized that her and a few others were being this way and dropped. It’s sad to see that what was once a great sisterhood be reduced to one clique of less that 5 girls who make everyone else feel like outsiders and that their opinions aren’t relevant. There are some amazing sweethearts in this sorority, but sadly the few bad ones really outweigh the good. Honestly won’t be surprised if this chapter isn’t around in a few semesters, their numbers are declining. It’s really sad to see, and it’s really sad to know that it’s the fault of only a few girls.

Don’t get me wrong, there are a couple sisters in this chapter who are super sweet. But overall, they have a holier than thou vibe. Lots of girls dropped this year and nobody even blames them. They could have a great sisterhood if everyone would just be nice to each other and they would stop talking bad about other sororities on campus just because they have a superiority complex and half of them think this is Mean Girls.

As James Charles once said “sisters”. This is something that has always stuck with me. I hope it touches your heart and soul like it did mine.

It is very sad to come on here and see this sorority get trashed. Most of the girls are super nice. Like all sororities there is a clique of bad ones. Would love to get some great new girls in the sorority!!

These girls are EXTREMELY dedicated to their sisters. They love their sisters and would do anything for their sisters. It would an honor to be a sister to these sisters.
