confused on sorority rankings

most of these “top houses” are straight party houses and get attention by acting out. but all the sororities you mentioned (plus dz and kappa) get invited to the same parties so it doesn’t really matter. also, dz and axo have GORGEOUS and huge houses so they get a lot of attention from that as well. when you go through rush you’ll be able to see where the entitlement is, who cares more about status and who cares more about sisterhood (although the “mid top” houses do tend to be more genuine). but i’ve met nice girls in all of these sororities and so will you🫶🏾🫶🏾

they’re all good houses! don’t pay too much attention to what people say on greek rank. most people are just trying to hate. all “relevant” means is that those houses get invited to all the same functions…so basically anyone ranked above sk in most posts on here. but don’t let that impact your rush experience. go where you feel like you can be yourself!! people flame the “top houses” because they can have a mean girl reputation but there are so many AMAZING people in those houses too.

all people out on here is the negative so you’d be better off ignoring it and going into rush with an open mind. truly, at purdue rankings don’t make much of a difference.

top house = more haters. nobody is making hate posts for irrelevant houses bc there’s no need to. doesn’t mean some of the comments aren’t valid, but it’s just trying to change the hierarchy (just assume these are posted by someone in a lower-tier house)

There’s like 7-8 sororities that get invited to like everything aphi, dz, chi o,kappa, a chi o, zeta, dg, tri delt but it’s not hard to make connections and friends to get invited anywhere if that’s what ur concerned about but majority of the sororities at Purdue tho have a super good sisterhood and for the most part everyone is super kind and welcoming just make sure you pick based on connections with people in line and sophomores because those are who you’ll be interacting with and a lot of comments on here are from people with individual problems with people from houses and are often times dramatized and you’ll rarely find girls who act superior because they are considered in a “top” house.
