Phi Mu and Pi Phi???
by: anonymousWhy does phi mu and pi phi get so much hate? I am a pnm rushing this fall and I feel like phi mu has super cute southern vibe and one of the best social medias and seems to have cute girls and pi phi also has a very aesthetic feed and cute girls and both have amazing philanthrophies?

People like to hate on them because they need to put someone down to feel better about themselves. They are both genuinely great groups and there’s nothing wrong with joining either of them! Just go where you feel most comfortable and don’t listen to anything on here lol

I mean theyre fine, its rare to join a genuinely bad sorority, but I just dont think they fit in with the other sororities. Theyre a lot less selective during rush, so they tend to get a mix of great people and weird chopped people and dont make an effort to have a distinct vibe.

I think the girls in those chapters tend to be a lot more chill about greek life in general and sometimes that gets them a bad rep. Like I find that they don’t take themselves as seriously as some of the “better” chapters and the girls are in the chapter because they like the people and the philanthropy instead of for social clout

Every sorority has pretty girls and ones that are less stereotypically attractive. Why would you choose relationships or join a lifelong group based on looks anyway, how shallow 😭
