rushing as a minority

Im an indian male and planning on rushing top tier frats at UNC. Is there anything i should look out for? Will my race make me less likely to recieve a bid?

Your race won't negatively affect you at all, but your attitude might. Just going for the top tier houses will limit your options and you'll sound like a douche.

Yeah I just talked to all the top tier fraternities and they said you aren't getting a bid.

I am desi and friends with a lot of the top frat guys. Probably, because we were close from Freshman year and a couple from HS times. I can tell you that I would never have trusted those frats in a Rush process. You do you, son.
