Phi Mu - ΦΜ Sorority Ratings at UM

Phi mu on this campus is over all the best sorority. Whether you're looking for a girl to study with or a girl to party with they have it all. They are sweet and the group is so diverse that anyone would fit right in!

Phi Mu is a great soroity on campus.

I went through Fall 2014 recruitment and they were extremely rude to... I could tell the second I stepped onto there hall that they DID NOT want me in their sorority, and thats ok, I'm fine with that, just don't be rude about... I get it there will be girls who come through that you won't like/ don't belong in your group, but during recruitment try and class it up Phi Mu and don't have someone sit through 30+ minutes of awkward silence because the girl she was put with doesn't want to talk!

Phi Mu has really lost it this year. Like where are they? I never see any of them together and none of them are really involve on campus. I have 2 friends that are baby phi's who regret joining. They may be classy, but they're pretty much prudes. They are the most strict chapter on campus. My friends told me you get called to EC for stupid stuff and that their sisterhood is deteriorating. It's basically 2 sororities in one now. If you join, be prepared to choose a side.

This is the only group of girls that is going to do anything good for this campus this year. I know a bunch of their new officers and they are such strong leaders. I know their president really well too and she is going to be the best that this campus has seen in a long time... Other sororities better step their game up because you can already tell that this group is going to dominate this year.

Great group of girls, they seem to always talk to me in classes and they are really pretty

From the time I was a freshman here at Montevallo these ladies have been undoubtedly the most dominant sorority on campus. They have the best GPA always without question, they have more members involved in more things on campus than anyone else, and they are all around more involved than any other Sorority on campus. Classy ladies.

These are a fantastic group of girls! People always give them so much crap before they get to know them. They are genuinely sweet girls and yes there may be a few bad apples but that's how it is in any sorority. They are all extremely beautiful and smart and hold their heads up high because they are proud to be number one on campus in grades and academics. That's why people think they are stuck up. It's more than just looks with these girls. They truly have a lot going for them!

I just read the previous statements and had to laugh. Obviously some of the comments came from other girls in different sororities to try and downgrade the Phi Mus. Undoubtedly there are going to be lemons in every sorority on campus, but the Phi Mu sisters at Montevallo are tops as well as the Phi Mu sisters at Samford. If you check most campuses, U of Alabama for example, anywhere you go Phi Mus rate very high. Go into recruitment with an open mind and you can spot insincerity very easily.

They are very pretty, but their attitudes and sisterhood needs work. They talk badly about their sisters to each other and to people who are not in their sorority. Most of the time any rumors that get started about them also started with them. They could use some work.
