They have some rich alums (like every SINGLE other house, this is UofI after all). But they do not have a core of dedicated alums that are willing to throw serious money at them.

Lmao SAE is doing fine. Their 19 class was ok but still a top 5 class. Everyone who says they are "falling fast" is just trying to take SAE's spot in top 5 frats

Prediction: In 3 years Beta will be ranked higher than SAE.

(and that is not necessarily saying that Beta will be Top 5)

Beta will be top again eventually. Its just a matter of time before they fully re-establish themselves ( better rushes, better block, more bar pull). SAE thrived because they had Beta's pledges from 2009 and no competition to deal with from across the street since the mansion was given to Acacia and even Phi Sigma Kappa for the last 5 years.

SAE is trending down by blocking with Alpha Phi (no offense) after being paired with Theta and Tri Delt. Beta is going from having no house to blocking with XO. SAE will be back to its historic Mid-Tier level (like a Phi Delt) by the time 18's graduate
